Integration

Integration can be described s the process of finding the area under some curve bounded by a function and two limits.  Since there are a limited number of analytical techniques that can be used to find the value of a given integral, most integrals are evaluated by numerical methods.  In this section, three methods will be examined -- the Midpoint Rule, the Trapezoidal Rule and Simpson's Rule.

  • Mipoint Rule
  • Trapezoidal Rule
  • Simpson's Rule
